CLIMATE - WHEN TO GO

The Wet Season usually arrives for Feb – March – April. Heavy rain may occur at this time, and causeways may be flooded for several hours.

The most popular time to visit the Daintree Coast is July and August and it is recommended that you book your accommodation before arrival.

October – November can often be the best time to visit the area – the sea is usually calm, visitor numbers are less, and the humidity is relatively low.

It can rain at any time during the year, but rain does not stop tours or activities. Most tour operators provide raincoats or umbrellas for visitors who do not have their own.
